It is a high end device from SONY called SONY XPERIA ZR.It is also available as SONY XPERIA ZR HSPA+,SONY XPERIA ZR LTE,SONY XPERIA ZR C5503 and SONY XPERIA ZR C5502 .It is brother of SONY XPERIA Z and also water resistant over 1 metre.It's camera and chipset is very powerful and also comes with some cool features but it will be very hard for this smartphone to stand in smart phone market against other high end devices.

It was launched on June 2013 and comes with 25000INR price tag.
SCREEN AND DESIGN:-
SONY XPERIA ZR is a large 4.55 inches TFT capacitive multitouch upto 10 fingers touchscreen smartphone having shatter proof and scratch resistant glass on top for protection,it is also dust and waterproof and water resistant over 1 metre and having 720*1280 pixels screen size.It has 10.5 mm thick body and it weighs 138 grams which is not so bulky.There is also a Sony mobile Bravia engine 2 for enhance image and video.Its body is made up of plastic,but it does not affect its body design, and it is good in looks.It is not so bulky and can be easily fit in your hands.Its display is quite good and its colors appears well saturated and lively, but viewing angles are pretty poor.All key like power, lock, camera shutter and volume rocker are placed on the right side of the smartphone.
OS:-
SONY XPERIA ZR comes with ANDROID 4.1 and ANDROID 4.3 Jellybean OS with sony customized UI for good user interface which is planned upgrade to ANDROID 4.4 Kitkat OS.
MEMORY:-
It comes with 8GB of internal storage which is expandable upto 64GB via micro SD card but you will get only 4.6GB User available space.
RAM AND PROCESSOR:-
SONY XPERIA ZR comes with 1.5 ghz quad core Krait CPU with Qualcomm APQ8064 Snapdragon chipset and 2 GB ram.Its processor is very fast and smooth and does not lag at all, that means you can use this smart phone without any lag.It's ram and processor can run almost every apps without any problem or lagging.Its touch is also smooth, fast and responsive.Its Adreno 320 GPU is capable to run HD games very smoothly,that means great gaming experience.
CAMERA:-
It comes with 13MP autofocus rear camera which is capable of record full HD 1080p videos @ 30fps.There is also a LED flashlight for low light conditions and a VGA front camera for video calling.Its camera quality is not amazing, but average.Images is appears to be under exposed which causing them look darker than reality. It can click some really good detailed pics and pics under outdoor conditions are good but under indoors condition we observe some digital noise.Its LED flash is also not so powerful but average, also there is some problem in continuous autofocus,these are some of its cons and camera is not according to our expectation but average.Other camera features are Geo-tagging, touch focus, face detection, image stabilization, HDR, sweep panorama etc.
BATTERY AND FEATURES:-
It comes with 2300 mah battery which gives 13 hrs talktime that means full 1 day battery on normal uses which is good.Other features are SNS integration,predictive text input,active noise cancellation with dedicated mic,DLNA,dual band for good network coverage and network connection in different countries and TV-out.Its sound clarity is very good and loud,without any doubt.
CONCLUSION:-
It is a good large screen high end device with good configuration and specification.Its display and its powerful chipset which gives flawless performance are its positive points, and its average camera and bland visual are some of its cons. It's up to you that you want to go for this or wants to look for other options.
