NOKIA ASHA 500 is a non windows smartphone from NOKIA.It is built on NOKIA ASHA software platform based on technology originally developed by smartphone.It is a dual sim smart phone which is very necessary in today time. its features are almost same as NOKIA ASHA 500 but the screen size and camera megapixels are just trimmed down to reduce its price tag.The best thing about this phone is its price tag, Which is very less and affordable. It is a 2G phone and does not support 3G networks

SCREEN AND DESIGN:-
NOKIA ASHA 500 is a 2.8 inches TFT capacitive multitouch upto 2 fingers touchscreen smartphone having 240*320 pixels screen size.It weighs only 101 grams.Its design is much similar to NOKIA ASHA 502,but it is good and can be easily hold with one hand.It has very curvy edges and there is also a transparent shell that gives classic look to this smartphone.
OS:-
NOKIA ASHA 500 works on NOKIA ASHA software platform 1.1.1 OS with NOKIA ASHA UI and OTA update support.Its interface is looking very good and very user friendly.
MEMORY:-
It comes with free 4GB of micro SD card.It is expandable upto 32 GB via micro SD card.That means you can store enough pics,videos,songs etc.
RAM AND PROCESSOR:-
NOKIA ASHA 500 comes with 64 MB ram which is enough for this OS to run applications and games.There are so many apps and games are available for this OS so that you can enjoy them.It does not lag much and runs smoothly along with its touchscreen.
CAMERA:-
It comes with 2MP camera which is capable of making QVGA video recording @ 13fps.Its camera quality is nice in this price range and it will be unfair to expect better camera in this price range.There is no secondary camera and no flash light for low light conditions.
BATTERY AND FEATURES:-
It comes with 1200 mah battery which gives 14 hrs talktime that means more than one day battery on normal uses which is good.Other features are quad band gsm,predictive text input,SNS apps etc.It comes with some built in social apps include facebook, twitter,sina weibo,line,wechat etc. NOKIA ASHA 500 is the first of NOKIA ASHA 50x series phone for which inclusion of whatsapp is officially mentioned. There is also a bluetooth 3.0 for file sharing and its sound is also clear and loud.
CONCLUSION:-
Basically it is cheaper version of NOKIA ASHA 501 and if you are OK with its operating system so i think this is very good phone for you if you want a smartphone in very low price range.But it's upto you that you want a non android or non windows smartphone or not.
