LAVA IRIS X1 full review, specification, releasing date and price in india

Battle for budget smart phones getting hotter day by day. This battle starts with MOTOROLA MOTO E with 6999 inr price tag then MICROMAX A106 UNITE 2 with 6999 inr price tag, now it's time for LAVA IRIS X1 which is nice budget smartphone from  smartphone company LAVA having tremendous and sleek body design along with tremendous features. It is a dual sim smartphone with dual standby mode.
Now there is a question will be arise in your mind that does it gives a good competition to MOTOROLA MOTO E and MICROMAX A106 UNITE 2 or not.So lets have a review and we will check that does this smartphone stand in smartphone market or not.

AVALAIBILITY AND PRICE:-

It was recently launched on May 2014 and comes with 7999INR price tag for 4GB version which is very affordable.

SCREEN AND DESIGN:-

LAVA IRIS X1 is a large 4.5 inches IPS LCD capacitive multitouch touchscreen smartphone having 480*854 pixels screen size and 218 ppi pixel density which is quite less than MOTOROLA MOTO E, but it is good in this budget. Its display is not so bright but quite sharp and colours are also good along with nice saturation. You can't expect good viewing angles in sunlight conditions from this budget smartphone so its viewing angles are average in sunlight conditions.
Its body design is its benchmark and its tremendous design will remember you of iphone 4s and from back side it is very difficult to differentiate either it is LAVA IRIS X1 or iphone 4s with larger size. Its body is just tremendous and gives you classy feel when you hold it.
It has 8.9 mm thick body and it weighs 138 grams which is little bit bulky but so sleek and slim. Its body is made up of chrome plastic and bezels around the display along with matte finish plastic on its back side which gives it a premium look.So its body build quality is better than whatever you got in this budget.

OS:-

LAVA IRIS X1 works on latest ANDROID 4.4.2 kitkat OS with stock UI which is preety user friendly.

MEMORY:-

It comes with 4GB of internal storage which is expandable upto 32GB via micro SD,but you will get only 1.11GB user available space for apps and 1.36GB user available space for storing media files.

RAM AND PROCESSOR:-

LAVA IRIS X1 comes with 1.2 ghz quad core CPU with Broadcom BCM23550 chipset and 1 GB ram. There is also a Broadcom videocore 4 GPU for gaming. Its performance is quite average and not fantastic, but not too bad. There is a little bit lag in UI during app launch or switching apps which can bother you,In starting the lag is just negligible but it arises after a month or more, but it's ok and I think you can manage this in this budget. Its gaming performance is also average but can run non HD games without any lag.

CAMERA:-

It comes with 8MP autofocus back camera which is capable of record HD 720p videos @ 30fps.There is a LED flashlight for low light conditions and 2MP front camera for video calling which is quite better than MOTO E on paper. Its camera application is very basic and having few options but you can download some great camera apps from Google play store. Its camera quality is nice but not up to mark according to 8MP.Clicked pics are not so crisp and pics are looked like washed out along with low saturation.Other camera features are Geo-tagging,BSI sensor etc.So overall its camera performance is average and not according to its 8MP camera.

BATTERY AND FEATURES:-

It comes with li-ion 1800 mah battery which gives 9 hrs of talk time that means full 1 day battery on normal uses which is nice.Other features are SNS integration, predictive text input, active noise cancellation with dedicated mic, proximity and accelerometer sensors etc.

CONCLUSION:-

Overall it is a good package in low budget. Its tremendous body and latest OS can fascinate you but its camera performance and CPU performance are just average but still you can go for this in this budget or you can also look for MOTO E and MICROMAX UNITE 2 in this budget.

GADnDOWN:-

Gad it.
