AVALAIBILITY AND PRICE:-
It was launched on January 2014 and available on market with a price tag of 7999INR which is affordable.
SCREEN AND DESIGN:-
XOLO Q1000 OPUS is a large 5 inches IPS LCD capacitive multitouch touchscreen smartphone having 480*854 pixels screen size and 196 ppi pixel density which is quite similar to many budget smartphones. Its display is not so sharp but quite bright even after its low pixel density. it's viewing angle is also average under sunlight condition due to its low pixel density.
It is quite large smartphone and sometimes it is very uncomfortable to hold. Its body design is quite good and its body is 9mm in thickness, which is not so thick. This smartphone contain huge bezels on the side.It has a metal finish on sides but its not prone to fingerprint and you can easily use your smartphone without any bothering. Its body is quite curvicious too,due to its curvicious edges.
OS:-
XOLO Q1000 OPUS runs on ANDROID 4.2.2 Jellybean OS with stock UI which is also used in other Xolo smartphones, but now its update on ANDROID 4.4.2 kitkat OS is also available by Xolo developers, but some users complained that after updating its OS,so many bugs are entered in there smartphones like wifi, brightness control and making calls affected by bugs so badly, but there is a software update of 18 MB from Xolo care which is quite better and bugs free.

It comes with 4GB of internal storage which is expandable upto 32GB via micro SD,but you will get only 1.16GB user available space for apps and 1.68GB user available space for storing media files.
RAM AND PROCESSOR:-
XOLO Q1000 OPUS comes with 1.2 ghz quad core Broadcom CPU with BCM23550 chipset and 1 GB ram. There is also a Broadcom videocore 4 GPU for gaming, from 1 GB ram you will get only 954 MB of usable ram. Its configuration is very good for a budget smartphone. Its performance is not so bad,in starting there is no lag and its benchmark test are also very good, but after a month or two months its performance decreases. Its gaming performance is also good and you can enjoy HD games like Nova 3,Asphalt 8,Dday commando,NFS etc without any lag and with good graphics.
CAMERA:-
It comes with 5MP autofocus back camera which is capable of record HD 720p videos @ 30fps.There is a LED flashlight for low light conditions and VGA front camera for video calling. Its camera quality is not very good and not so bad but average.Clicked pics in daylight conditions are good but in low light conditions its performance decreases, its flash light is also not so effective. You can easily noticed some noise and lack of details in the pictures.Other camera features are Geo-tagging,touch to focus, burst mode, face and smile detection, panorama etc.So overall its camera quality is average just like other budget smartphones.
BATTERY AND FEATURES:-
It comes with li-po 2000 mah battery which gives 18 hrs of talk time that means full 1 day battery on normal uses which is average, but there is a Xolo power app that can increase the battery life.Other features are SNS integration, predictive text input, proximity and accelerometer sensors etc.
CONCLUSION:-
Overall it is a nice budget smartphone with good performance and nice body design but its camera quality and display is just average but still you can go for this without any problem.
