This is a humble light bulb gets the smarts.The LIFX is a WiFi enabled device having multi colour and energy efficient LED.You can control this device with your smartphone just by installing the LIFX app in your smartphone.Just replace your existing bulb,flip the switch on and launch the LIFX app on your smartphone.Your existing switch still work they just might get a little jealous
After which you will be guided through a process of choosing your home WiFi network from a list and then entering your password.The LIFX bulb will auto configure itself to your router and if you have installed more than one bulb,the slave bulbs will auto connected to the master.
The best part is that each smart bulb can be controlled individually by using your smartphone and you can also adjust its brightness and change the light color.Every LIFX bulb can create millions of colors control individual bulbs,room or even the entire home.
If you are wondering,LIFX bulbs use just 10 percent of energy that standard bulbs consume,and are rated for 40000 hrs or 25 years of use which is just awesome.
