AMAZON has launched a tablet called AMAZON KINDLE FIRE HD 8.9. AMAZON KINDLE FIRE HD 8.9. is a 8.9 inches 10 point multitouch IPS LCD HD display capacitive touchscreen smartphone.
This is powered by 1.5 GHz dual core cortex-A9 processor along with 1 GB of ram which is ideal for smooth HD games.
AMAZON KINDLE FIRE HD 8.9 comes with 1.3 mp primary camera .It comes with 16 and 32 GB of internal memory which is not expandable and this smartphone works on ANDROID 4.0 ICECREAM SANDWHICH custom OS for customized user interface
The graphics processor used here is the well-known power VR SGX544 which is also used in Samsung galaxy S4 smart phone and it also comes with TIOMAP 4470 chipset. For full HD experience from display panel, the processor used in AMAZON KINDLE FIRE HD 8.9 has almost 40 % faster memory bandwidth than tegra 3 processor.
But there is no micro SD card slot and there is also absense of USD OTG for 3G dongle which are some limitations of this is tablet. It features dual WiFi antennas which is benchmark of this tablet.
