It s a simple router for basic home networking.Design of CISCO LINKSYS E1500 is very good and its look like an expensive jewelry gift box than a router.It is very compact with flat shaped and internal antenna design, and you will show off this device in open rather than hiding it under a desk or in a corner of house.
CISCO LINKSYS E1500 has 4 LAN ports for wired network devices and one wan port.But none of ports is gigabit Ethernet which would offers throughput of 1000 Mbps. There is no USB port so there is no built in network storage or print serving capability and it also not comes with an array of status light.
GOOD THINGS:--It has nice compact design and offers good speed.Its affordable and comes with CISCO connect that helps you to set up a home wireless network with ease.
BAD THINGS:--It lacks advanced features like dual band, gigabyte Ethernet and not also supported USB devices.
This whole package comes with 80$ price tag.
SO OVERALL THIS IS A NICE DEVICE AND YOU CAN GO FOR THIS IF YOU WANT A ROUTER FOR REGULAR HOME USES.
